FLOW OF THE RINK FLOOR

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, all skaters must follow the instructions given by Skate Waco staff and our Skatertainers while on the skating floor.

SKATING FLOOR RULES

Follow Staff Instructions
Skaters must follow all instructions given by Skate Waco staff and Skatertainers.

Personal Skates
Personal skates must be clean, in excellent working condition, and have all parts present and secure. Skates may not have exposed metal or any parts that could damage the skating surface. Skate Waco reserves the right to inspect personal skates before they are used on the floor.

Follow the Flow
All skaters must skate in the same direction as the flow of traffic. Never skate against the direction of other skaters unless specifically instructed by a Skatertainer.

Know the Speed Limit
The speed limit is the average speed of the skaters on the floor. Adjust your speed based on the session and the skaters around you.

Faster Outside — Slower Inside
Faster skaters should remain toward the outside of the skating floor. Slower and beginner skaters should stay toward the inside.

Floor Work & Tricks
All floor work, tricks, freestyle moves, and stationary skating skills must be performed inside the designated red traffic circle. Keep the main traffic lanes clear.

Keep the Outside Wall Moving
Do not stop, stand, sit, or gather along the outside wall of the skating floor. If you need to stop, safely move toward the center or exit the skating floor.

Pay Attention
Always pay attention to your surroundings and the skaters around you. Skate within your ability and maintain enough control to safely maneuver around others.

No Food or Drinks on the Skating Floor
Food and beverages are never permitted on the skating floor.

FOOD & DRINK POLICY

No outside food or drinks are permitted inside Skate Waco.

Cakes are permitted only with a reserved party package.

Empty refillable water bottles are permitted. Bottles must be empty when entering the facility.

Our Skatertainers are here to keep the floor moving, safe, and fun for everyone. Please listen for announcements and instructions throughout your skating session.

Skating floor rules may be adjusted by Skate Waco staff based on attendance, session type, special events, or safety concerns. Failure to follow staff instructions or skating floor rules may result in removal from the skating floor or facility.
